example.php 15th line has require('GifMerge.class.php'); .
but the GifMerge.class.php is not found in downloaded source.
downloaded source have example,example.php,FXLake.class.php and image.gif.
where is GifMerge.class.php.

Your problem was resolved and the files has been updated.
But, don't forget download the GIFEncoder.class /as an extended class/ for this script.
